I was honored to be included in the lineup for the inaugural Capital Vintage Show, a one-day vintage menswear market at Union Stage on Sunday June 7th at The Wharf in Washington, DC. Hosted by Donovan Levy (thrashxcloset), the event brought together some of the regions biggest vintage dealers with a few heavy-hitters like Style Bidder of Vermont, and I brought a curated rack of Sharpman Vintage pieces to the DC crowd for the first time

My first time in DC, I wanted to ensure I had time to set up, so I set my alarm for 4:30am and made the drive up to The Wharf in DC.

After navigating the load-in and finding my spot on-stage, I was greeted by LJ Sconzo (barryjawnz) of Pure Reason Vintage and Sam Parven (sjparv) of Parv's, DC's newest menswear boutique.

Once the doors opened, the day was a blur. I met so many new folks; from menswear influencers & writers to the dozens of folks who came out just wanting to build up their closets.
Thanks to everyone who came by, especially Richmond pals Gavin of Vital Pieces, Madelyn of Badland Blues & Ethan who made me feel at home. I look forward to seeing the new lives given to some of my favorite pieces, and can't wait to do it again. I sold a loads of ties, great Polo & Lacoste shorts, shoes from Brooks Brothers Formal Flats to a classic pair of Thorogood American Heritage Moc toe boots and so many summer prints, plaids and stripes.
